5 Days Cairo & Alexandria Tour

Day 1: Arrive Cairo 

Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will be waiting for you with the sign of blue sharm Travel then you will be transferred by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. 

Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

After Breakfast. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your Egypt pyramid tour, you will start your pyramid tour to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Then we will move on to tour the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The Egyptian museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, as well as Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the1920 when his tomb was excavated. Cairo city tour and Nile photo stop. Later transfer back to your hotel. (Optional) Evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Old Islamic & Coptic Cairo

After Breakfast. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a spiritual day tour to the Islamic and Coptic sites in Cairo. First, see Saladin Citadel where Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque stays, also Al Gawhara palace built by Mamluks and Ottomans. Then proceed to Ibn Tulun Mosque, the Museum of Gair Anderson. Move to visit to El Azhar, the first Islamic University & Al Hussein Mosque, Optional shopping tour in bazaars, then back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Alexandria

After breakfast. Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to Alexandria. Start the tour with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit it’s open court and free museums. Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket. Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse; one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continue your tour by visiting the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great. You can then stop for optional lunch before visiting the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish (30 km) to see the whole city of Alexandria from the sea side which includes the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater. Stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria, before visiting the old downtown of Alexandria and walking through the old city-center of Alexandria: built by Alexander the great. Travel in comfort back to your hotel. Day 5: Departure

After Breakfast at the hotel our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
